What is PurplePatch?
How does it work?
We encourage everyone to be an active member of PurplePatch and you can log on to the website at any time to see all the current surveys we have on offer. The more surveys you complete, the more points you gain, and the faster you can redeem the points for GiftPay cards.
We will also send emails to your registered email address with links to surveys, forums, and polls which we think might be of special interest to you.You need to know that unfortunately, not everyone will be eligible to complete every survey. This is because sometimes we are looking for a particular demographic, or age range, or interest group to provide the type of feedback we need for the research we are conducting. The first step is that we ask you to complete a quick ‘screener’ which helps us determine if you are eligible. Everyone gets paid points for completing the screener but the amount will vary depending on the complexity. If you are eligible for the next stage you will receive further links to the complete the full survey and be able to claim the full points. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you confirm the following:
I am a resident of Australia and am over 16 years of age.
I understand that the information contained in any documentation, and/or revealed in any discussions or communications within the online research portal constitutes confidential information and must not be disclosed or discussed with any third party.
By entering this online research portal, I agree not to post or submit any item or any links to content that:
1. Is defamatory or discloses any information that I have no legal right to disclose or is otherwise illegal;
2. Is (or contains anything which is) vulgar, hateful, obscene, profane, threatening or insulting;
3. Intends to impersonate another person or entity;
4. Contains any form of advertising, promotional materials or any form of commercial activity;
5. Contains any or links to any virus, corrupted files, “Trojan Horses”, key loggers or any other malicious code or material that could cause harm to the computer, data or financial security of any third party;
6. Contains any or links to any intentionally false or misleading statements or any statement seeking to unfairly manipulate others;
7. Is an attempt to collect or store data about other members;
8. Is protected by any form of intellectual property whether registered or unregistered or any contractual, statutory and equitable obligations of confidence; or
9. Is or may amount to collusion or activities of a suspicious or criminal nature.

Any item that breaks the above terms and conditions will be removed.
Users of this website should be aware that passwords are for their own personal use. Passwords must not be shared or disclosed to any third party. Lewers Research will never ask for your password. It will be a breach of this policy for any user to misuse their own or other users’ passwords.
By using the PurplePatch website, you agree to be bound by the above rules. Anyone found to be in breach of any of the above rules will be removed from the website immediately and banned from becoming a member PurplePatch at any time in the future.

Why do I need a username and password?
We need to ensure that your PurplePatch account is kept secure at all times, and so only you can access your personal details. A username gives you your own unique identity on the site so we know who we are talking to. You can choose a nickname or whatever you like, so long as it is not offensive and does not disclose your personal contact details. For security will be asked to enter your password whenever you log in to your account, and when you want to redeem your reward points.Please make sure you select a secure password. It MUST be at least 8 digits and include a capital letter and a number. And of course, don’t disclose your password to anyone, or allow other people to access your PurplePatch account.
How do I reset my password?

How do I get more information on how my personal data will be used?
We need to collect certain personal data, like date of birth, location, employment status, education etc from you to verify your eligibility to participate in the research we conduct. Your personal contact details are never disclosed to anyone. We are legally bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cwth) and also adhere to the Australian Market Research Society Code of Conduct. Our website tech partner is based in the UK and Europe and is bound by the very strict GDPR which came into effect on 25 May 2018.
All research data collected by us through Purple Patch is analysed and the results aggregated and reported as a whole. You are never personally identified in any research findings.
